Wisconsin
We spent August 16-22 back home in WI. It was packed full of parties and driving around to see everyone. We spent a day (the only sunny day of our trip) up at my parents' cabin. Mike was the only one who actually got in the lake to swim - it was about 75 degrees. Mike and I miss having a place to go to escape the city. The next day was spent at Dad Swenson's 60th birthday party. It was great to see everyone! Sunday was spent at Nick and Amy's new house for a BBQ. I got to see some of my friends - one of which I haven't seen since our wedding (Amanda, you need to get out here to visit)! Our last day was supposed to be spent wake boarding, but the weather did not cooperate. We relaxed at the Swensons' instead and had dinner with my parents and Mike's parents in Lake Geneva. We had an excellent trip!

new home!
We bought a house here in Seattle! We are very, very excited and a little overwhelmed with the whole process. Our offer was accepted in mid July and we closed on the 27th of July - this is why there were no posts in July. We were a little busy. We are all moved into the house, but have a lot of unpacking to do. Sorry, I don't have any pictures right now. It's a 1911 Craftsman style house with 3 bedrooms (you can actually fit beds in them - a rare find in Seattle), basement (complete with a urinal) and garage (big enough to put in a mini ramp)in the Ballard neighborhood. It's a good old house that needs some cosmetic work. Mike and I are up for the challenge!
We've already been to Sears to buy a fridge, washer and dryer. And we spent about 3 hours in Lowe's on Saturday. I guess we are adults now.
